Shipping

When will my item be shipped

Generally, orders will be shipped within 3-5 days after your purchase date.

Refund or exchange request

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
  • is unsafe
  • is significantly different from the sample or description
  • doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed

 

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.

Makan is in compliance with ACCC. (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission)

1. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of delivery date. After 14 days from delivery date you must contact Makan Customer Service to determine the best course of action. 

2. A copy of the Makan credit card purchase receipt, and a copy of the original Makan invoice may be requested prior to Makan Customer Service issuing a Return Authorization.

3. Items must be returned in original packaging with all original accessories, literature and other components. Makan reserves the right to reject any refund request if the product is damaged or if any accessories, literature or other original components are missing.

4. A Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained prior to returning the product; to request an RA number, please email chantal@changeiscurrency.com.au or WhatsApp +62 813 3755 4452, and provide the following information:

5. Upon written receipt of the RA number, send product to:

6. Please mark with the RA number on the outside of the package.

7. A copy of the Makan credit card purchase receipt, and a copy of the original Makan invoice should be placed inside the return package so that it is easily visible.

8. Products received without an RA number and the required documentation as specified above may not be accepted or processed for return.

9. You may be responsible for shipping costs for returning the product to Makan’s warehouse. Product should be shipped so that it can be tracked and/or insured; Makan is not responsible for products lost or damaged during return shipment.

10. Shipping charges may be nonrefundable.

11. Funds will be credited within 7-10 business days of receipt of returned product pending qualification and subject to above criteria.
